Yep. That ring beside the locking mechanism, in the last pic, is the kick ring.
I am struggling to put my hands on the little beauty ring though. But as all my batteries are flat tops now, I don't need them. So can include one from another Nemi.

Are you sure? My understanding is, from left to right, Switch, lock ring, kick / 18500 extension tube, 18650 / 18500+kick tube, 18350 tube, 510 connector.

I know what you are talking about. The beauty ring. And as I have said, I will include one if I cannot find the original one for this mod. But you are confusing the kick ring and the beauty ring. That little ring, that is missing, will in no way hold a kick. That is what the 1st tube is for, going left to right in my picture. You are also correct that it is for the 18500 set-up. That tube is used for 18350 + kick, 18500 or 18650 + kick. It is referred to as the kick ring when in 18350 or 18650 + kick. 18500 + kick is just the usual 18650 set-up. The beauty ring is only really used with nipple top batteries. All my batteries are flat-top, so I don't need to use that ring. It is not big enough for a kick. EDIT: I have just found it anyway, so the device will be complete regardless.
Just so there is little doubt for anyone else reading this, here is a picture of the beauty ring with a kick in it (as you can see, too small for a kick): And of the kick ring with a kick in it :

Yes, that is correct. 18350 plus that tube does indeed make it 18500. However, in 18650 or 18350 plus that tube makes it 18650 + kick, or 18350 + kick, hence calling it the kick tube or kick ring.
Anyway, it doesn't matter what you call it, that tube was ALWAYS going to be present. It was the little beauty ring that was in question, and that is never a kick tube or kick ring, as there is no way it can ever accommodate a kick. As far as I can tell, it is only used when using nipple top batteries instead of flat top.
