It's okay. Just wouldn't want prospective buyers thinking they wouldn't have been able to run a kick because there was confusion about what the parts are called. Anyway, it's all there now so can run with or without kick, with or without nipple top batteries etc...

Taz is right, it's a kick ring. Why they called it that, I don't know. A kick won't fit in it but you can't fit a kick without it using nipple top batteries.
Before anyone comes back and says I'm wrong, look up kalafan's video of it on YouTube.

Will this be suitable to just keep my dripper on. I have 18650 batteries which, from what I can tell, will be fine?

Yes it will. In fact, my current daily device is a brass Nemesis, just like this, with a VTC5 and dripper on top. It's my goto device at the moment. I just have 3 other Nemesis, so don't need this one.
