I have plenty of 8 mm diameter 1 mm thick, not sure if they are right for the PimpVari but happy to post you some. You can get loads of sizes on eBay, just don't go for the strongest N54 as they are very brittle. E: tag DiscoDes

Had a quick search and quite a few people advising against magnets in the PV, a blob of solder seems the best solution or a thin rubber washer with a pin or rivet in the centre.

I use a 5mm x 1mm to make flatties work in the Vamo. No problems. Personaly I'd not go the solder route. It doesn't stick very well and if it comes off then I recon it'd move easier than a magnet. So long as there is no batter rattle then the magnet ain't going anywhere. I got 5 for 2 squid off eBay I think. Your welcome to have a couple mate as I just swap the one to each battery. The others are stuck to my cotton trimming scissors which are stuck to my drill bits which are stuck to my nail clippers which are consequently stuck to my screwdrivers lol

Cheers Guys, as a past Prototype Wiring Solder Jockey I too don't think that solder is a good idea, it's too soft and adhesion will be an issue, so I am going to go down the 5mm x 1mm magnets route, i'll get a few off of Ebay I can't see them costing too much.

Problem with magnets is they can slip, and if they make contact with the mod wall will short your battery. I much prefer the idea of soldering a nipple on to the battery. Either that or go one step further and take Provari apart and solder one to the connection, that way all batts will fit it.

Thanks ruffdog but I reckon the 8mm OD may be too big to get in the U shaped recess inside the Provari, so I'm looking for some 5mm OD x 1mm thick but it seems like they only cone in 2mm thickness ??? I should be able to find them on Ebay.......................
