Ok, so it was my own fault to a point, took ipv2 and dripper to a wedding.
Few people had small Ecig, one lad had a lavatube, dunno if they got as much attention.
Questions and comments ranged from mild curiosity to trying to correct me that they where dangerous.
Gave few people recommendations on where to get kit, and one lad with a basic Ecig is now on the hunt for a box mod lol, recommended a mvp.
Corrected quite a few people about what can cause them to blow up if not on right charger, afterall the main battery bit of Ecig is nothing special.
But just got bored of answering questions in the end.

I have had a few people ask me why I have the MVP and not just a normal ecig - I generally reply 'because I want to' if they are interested I go on to explain it's a better vape - but only if they show an interest most people just look a me as if I'm some kind of weirdo - oh hang ..... I am

I so rarely see other vapers, it's a special occasion when I do. I get the odd stare but very few people comment. I mainly use 18350 mechs which are relatively discreet but I remember people thinking my evic was some kind of space-age wizardry.
When people do comment it's the usual - "does it work?", "how can you be sure they're safe" etc.

I have to admit I got enough attention from the curious when I used to go out with my itaste vv's and mini protanks....I'm sure no-one has noticed my billet box yet -- or they think i'm a raging alkie swigging from a hip flask! It's fine using my 18500 mods in the house and car but I prefer something more discreet when I'm walking about, so I have grown to love my 14500 mods. I'm lucky in that I never leave the house without a handbag so its simple to throw extra battery case in my purse I use my chi sleek now when I'm out in public, its a little beauty and most people dont look twice at it. Though if I was out all day it would have to be my billet box and sod anyone who stared!

I've given up my evangelical crusade of vigorously correcting people who warn me about the dangers of these terrible devices, instead i just say 'cool' then carry on as if they weren't there, it winds them up no end which gives me mild satisfaction.
My belief is that most doubters / haters fall into 1 of 3 catagories.
1 - They're genuinely concerned for our health but don't know any better. 2 - They see us as failures. 3 - They hate the fact that we can still get pleasure without the risks, they would rather we were still smokers so that they could hate us with 100% approval of the rest of society.
If people are genuinely interested i'm only too happy to chat but otherwise i don't waste my breath.

If I do get any comments it's mostly 'is that a camera' or 'is it for asthma' I have no shame. Where I go my favourite mod goes. If that's a vtr with a tatty pink leather wrap on it and a blue drip tip so be it. If it's a magneto in 18650 mode with a tank on - so be it.... People that are anti them are not anti - more like lamers (if any one remembers those?) and if i'm unsure I just say it's my vaporiser:D Job done

Someone saw a glass drip tip sticking out from my shirt pocket the other day and asked if I was diabetic, I pulled the mod out and replied 'wait 'til you see the size of the needle that fits on this glass bit', mortified is too mild a word really for their expression.

I loved it , I'm a punjabi and smoking infront of elders is even now a days a BIG NO NO . Went to a wedding yesterday and outside in a side street ( yes even us 40+ year olds have to abide by the cultural rule) , 3 of us were vapours !!!! Two with ego twists and Iclears , me with the stingray, mini kayfun and 1ohm build. We shared a vape , they went OMG I want that set up, spent a good hour at wedding giving them all the links of where to buy the stuff and all the YouTube vids on coils, battery safety etc. It was ace and the pints made it better.

I'm lucky in that I never leave the house without a handbag so its simple to throw extra battery case in my purse Just a point on safety.... (from someone who really should know better - ME!)
I often have a spare 18650 in my trouser pocket.... As I tend to vape a lot!
I was walking the Dog last week and had "said battery" in pocket... during the walk, I stopped and leant over a small bridge, watching her (the Dog) playing in the river, when I suddenly became aware of a very hot leg in the groin region....
My battery was shorting out on the small change I had in the same pocket.
I took it out, and I kid you not.... it was too hot to hold!
Be mindful of where you keep your spare battery.... a fire / explosion could be waiting to happen!
(I now keep my spare in a small plastic battery case - in my pocket)

I went to a Birthday meal in a hotel today and most reactions (Hana & kayfun) were supportive, especially when I pointed out that I have not smoked 30,000 cigs. One 3 week vaper at my table and only one smoker out of 80 guests, so I went outside to vape.

Cloud Atlas Vaping do a plastic battery storage box that (allegedly) takes either 2 x 18500's or 3 x 18350's depending if you put them in horizontal or vertical if it helps ? No single cases though.

I made one out of two old 20 ml juice bottles, on Hangsen needle type and one normal squeezable one, it was a little loose so a bit of sellotape on the inner one and bobs your uncle.
