ego style batteries from fasttech

Myth.

There are plenty of bad reviews on fasttech as well plenty of negative comments in the discussion section of each product.

Most reviews will go up within 2-5 days.

They even allow negative comments about products in the discussion section from people who do not even own the product and seem to think they know it all by simply looking at a photograph.

I can only talk from experience. My negative reviews take months to get approved, where as my positive ones go out within days.

I can give an example: I bought this product from them www.fasttech.com/p/1651403 It is badly made and I basically binned it within days of receiving it. I put up a review about it to help other people, and it still hasn't been "approved" All it has is glowing reviews. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. Like I said all my positive reviews go up really fast. I use fasttech regularly, but I don't trust the reviews, and with good reason.

Not my experience. I've posted negative reviews and seen them go on as quickly as any positive reviews I've posted.

If I'd posted a negative review that wasn't posted then I'd raise a ticket and want to know the reason why.

As I say the site is full of negative reviews and comments in the discussion forums.

I agree that the discussion forums seem to be fairly open. But, like I said, in my experience, low star reviews get delayed indefinitely. I have seen negative reviews on the site too, and I assume that they release most reviews ... eventually.

I have never raised a ticket with fasttech and I doubt I ever will. No doubt their support staff are wonderfully helpful, but personally for the cheap stuff I order I can't be bothered.

I'm not slating fasttech, I will continue to use them, and I'm glad that you have had such good experiences with them, but my experience has been different.

If it sounds too good to be true, be wary. I bought 6 1300mah batteries and they did not last long at all, very disappointed .

I have ordered 4 sets of these over the past 18 months (just stocking up for the future) I have only had one battery dead on arrival, so a pretty good deal as far as i am concerned, the good lady wife uses them all the time.

I've not bought those batteries but have bought some ego twists. Not had any tax on fasttech orders so far, probably due to them sending packets as gifts with a low value.

On another note, any ego type batteries I've ordered have been via singapore post and they have been delivered in the usual 2-3 week timescale. I'm guessing that ego batteries count as electronic devices with integral batteries rather than discrete lithium batteries since they have some electronics and a switch, hence the ability to ship them via airmail.
