Hi everyone, Hope your all well? I haven't really been round the forums lately and I have been quite happy living in my own little vaping world with the stuff I currently have. However I am getting bored with my mechs and I quite like my VTR except the size of it. Is the Vaporshark DNA 30 worth the £120 price tag? Or is there anything else on the horizon soon which is better? More power is not really needed as I can't see me using more than 13w.

They are tiny little buggas that put out some real power mate, I have two and if I lost them I would immediately replace. An Idea of size And I'm well impressed with the battery life

Ginge i was thinking exactly the same only a few weeks ago. I to have the vtr and lots of other mods. All i can say is it was some of the best money i have spent on vaping gear. It is tiny, perfect for your pocket, the battery lasts for an age even though it is a small mah rating. It is quick to charge up and imo with a skin on it looks amazing. I love it so much i am thinking on a second one.

Whats the overhang like with a 22mm atty does the skin make it look less? I was kind of in the mind set that I would have to put a spheroid on it, but those roses look pretty good

Yes the skin does make it less, all the atties in both pics including the squape reloaded next to a full size rose are 22mm Without the skin there is a slight overhang

blakey Roscopecotrain If you were to buy one again would you go for the rDNA with the extra battery and easily changeable or is the DNA good enough?

Or you could wait a little for the Provari P3 I have the 2.5 mate and it is flawless don't get me wrong but in 18500 with a 3.1 on top it is not really a pocket friendly device. I prefer to keep it next to my computer and use it in the evenings when im chilling out at home.

Oooo tough question. I would probably buy the dna 30 but only because i love the small size of this thing. The rdna is not much bigger mind plus it is easier to change the battery once it starts to die. Tough choice.

I played with the RDNA for a bit and whilst it's slimmer than the hana it's still as tall- I have no desire to own one. I would go with the mini again, battery is sealed though and if you're not competent with the soldering then you will have to send it in to your vendor for a replacement battery to be fitted. The lipo batteries are very cheap though. And they charge a lot quicker than the 18500 equivalent too

Maybe wait a little longer to see what is coming as these box mods are flying out left right and centre, also look for one with the best 510 connection like the fat daddy connector.
Myself i would go for a box mod that has a changeable battery not lipo...but that is just me.
EDIT: How rude of me, nice to hear from you again m8

I have to agree there is a lot coming out and being able to change a battery would be the ideal, but the small size of the DNA is why I am so attracted to it. I was kind of content with the MS but it eats batteries like no ones business and I am finding if I take the atty out the MS and stick it on the provari (at the same power) i am getting a better vape (strange, but a true story ) Hence why I have started to look around at all the new stuff out right now. It is a hefty price tag though, I would be interested to know how long the battery would last before it needs replacing?

pBasardo just released a good video comparing all the versions of the VaporShark, I think it comes down to the way you vape and your attitude to inbuilt batteries (I wont accept them). I not that blakey has two (is that so you can always have one charged?) and IMO that's an expensive way to have a spare battery, but we are all different.
