ronaldo The battery inside these 'bigger' egos are 3.9 volts. Standard ego chargers will only give a partial charge.

ronaldo see my thread here: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/44753/charging-higher-capacity-ego-batteries?page=1&scrollTo=780178I've just checked and the stuff I'm using is as follows: wall charger 1 : Input 100 -240v 100 mAh output: 5.0v 700 mAh wall charger 2: Input 90-264v output: 5.0v 500mAh both ego usb charger leads are: input 5v 500mAh output: 4.2v 420mAh So I shouldn't really use the wall adapter thats rated 700mAh? I bought BOTH from the same B&M shop and they were sold to me with my ego batteries as specifically for charging ego's safely. Can you recommend me a supplier of decent wall chargers and ego leads? Starting to think now that the issues I've had with my spinners and now the clover are charger related after all. The hub that you looked at runs off the mains without needing a pc connection? So would that be a good choice to charge several batteries at the same time and all I need is a couple more leads? I would strongly recommend the hub and yes you can charge quite a few at the same time using it

I like that hub, looked at it before but wasn't sure about it, think I'll get one. Did you see the news about the barmaid who nearly got set on fire with an exploding ecig battery? It was being charged with an ipad adapter, 2.1amp output, crazy.

I've been using my old iPhone wall adapter all this time and it's rated 1A. Does it damage battery or is it just a safety thing? Anyway I won't use it anymore.

The usb cord is the charger - that will sort out the necessary power your device requires.
Using a lower A plug will be more safe.
Your batteries will/should be fine as long as you use the correct lead.
Using a lower A plug just adds another safety measure, worth doing, but not essential by any means.
