I bought a couple of ego-T twist batteries recently and thought I'd check the volts output once they'd been used and recharged, using the omnitester (I had a spare half hour ) so, one fully charged battery on tester, twist down to the 3.3 setting, press the switch.....it read 3.9 mmmmmmturn it up to 4.8 it read 4.9 try the other one.......same readings. is this right? Am I doing something wrong? Isn't it volts? Should it be 3.3 to 4.8? The batteries work fine, and I have a spinner which works well, but one of the twists I bought to start off sons gf with vaping thinking it'd be good to have a vv battery from the off, can either use the vv setting or not. but if they should go down to 3.3 and don't, might, just might, this mean they aren't that good, therefore might have other problems? Am I being tooooooooooo cautious? thank you peeps

You cannot measure the output voltage with a simple meter because any VV or VW e-cigarette battery (mods included) chuck out what's known as a "square wave" basically they turn on and off fast, the effect of this is that the average voltage is what you get out of it. It matters not one jot to a coil but will bamboozle a meter. You need an oscilloscope to measure the output voltage correctly with the battery under load.

Ahhhhhh, thank you..........think I can live without an oscilloscope and I'll just be very happy the batteries work, charge and make clouds
