Hi, Sorry, I don't come here much. I'm still vaping, but I'm generally happy with what I use.

Yes, my friend Michael is doing fantastic. He's still sober, still not smoking either. He's about 10 months sober (his last drink was Christmas Eve - he lost Christmas day) and he recently ran a half marathon. That was a big deal for him; many alkies haven't achieved very much; so thanks to the vaping and the cleaner lungs - he's now a runner. He's been talking about doing a full marathon now. Alkies eh?

This time last year he was regaining consciousness in hospitals, and a very funny one was when he started drinking in Cardiff and then woke up in a police cell in Bristol, which really confused the heck out of him.

Anyway, Michael is doing great;he has an A.A. sponsor, he has an A.A. homegroup that he attends every week, he helps run this meeting; plus he visits other meetings with sober friends. He's made amends to most of his family members and they can see the change in him. He's careful about what he eats, drinks herbal teas and has a meditation practise. I don't half take the micky out of him.

It's been quite an experience to see this guy struggle to get sober, stay sober, and start getting his life back together.

Thanks to all who helped and he doesn't need anymore stuff; he's quite self sufficient these days.
