Ok davy a quick run down 1) Mesh. comes in 3 well used sizes 325 for thicker juices ,400 for a all rounder and 500 which is fine and for thinner liquids . 2) Wires. Theres different wires to cook your juices with kanthal A1 being the most commonly used,(the diffent wires seem to give off there own different taste). Also i find mesh works well with tobaccos and fruity juices ,but the custards is a no no for some reason lol Theres alot of trial and error in mesh builds when you first start but the most important thing to remember is to oxidize your mesh well and to trim each side of the square you cut out so you dont have strands of wires showing. Doing this will make later stages more stress free lol . The other way i do it sometimes is to use steel rope with a mesh topper, this really gives you max wicking and delivers juice to your coils quickly. Just remember befor you order your ss rope to know the size of the wick hole on your genesis atty for the thickness of rope your buying. hope this helps a bit.

Oh forgot to mention davy in the first picture i used the holes in the genisis are 3mm,i used 0.25mm kanthal A1 wire on 400 mesh. Now those 2 coils came to 0.5 ohms but i did those 1 at a time ,so when the first coil was there on 1 ohms i did my dry burning and got rid of any hot spots i had then i started on the second coil. patience is the name of the game mate

sloppyvape Thanks for taking the time to put that lot together for me. I have bookmarked the thread for reading and studying at the weekend. I will be keeping the eye open for a good tank now. Thanks very much.

shmovapes.co.uk/home/107-origen-genesis-v2-by-norbert.htmlId advise to get this one davy, reasons for this is that its multi purpose mesh/cotton with single or dual wicks along with that its got ajustable airflow.Made by a great guy that vapes and knows his stuff, threads and work on this is second to none. For £100 it beats so many more expensive atties out there right now and 9 out of 10 of them dont even have adjustable airflow. Lol typing this and blowing flavor filled cloud from it.Also if you wanted to chat to norbert about the atty hes on vaporwall forum under the modders section.

First clones on Alibaba linkIf anyone wants to do a group buy put me down for two. I got to drool over ervi's original on a Stingray X at the LSE meet. Sorry if my eagerness for a clone offends anyone, but just can't afford a genuine one at the moment.

Large liquid capacity, reduced chamber, cooling fins and adjustable air flow it seems to be a very sensible evolution of the genesis.

The wicking is excellent, First genny I have that has no issues with the fill hole plugged. With a decent wick in there, it is really pocket friendly and that's a first for me. (I have not tried turning it upside down bit on its side it's behaving) I still cant believe that little thing hold 4 ml of juice.

Yeah, I copped the specs when it was released but £100 is a lot to dump on yet another gennie that probably wont like my cocomel Wicking has never been an issue just the lack of body in the flavour reproduction. This time I'll try the clone first

Cotton wicks in gennies offer up a slightly better experience but if I'm going to use cotton then I have plenty of top quality silica atties here that do a great job. Unless of course the temp control on the DNA40 will make any difference

There are now 3 manufactures advertising the Origen Genesis v2 on Alibaba, so it's looking more positive that these will be available.
Shenzhen Eyco Technology Co, Shenzhen Yechengxin Technology Co & Shenzhen VCEEGO Technology Co.

I am really loving the vape sloppyvape, the clones were really poor quality and needed a lot of modification to get them to work well with DNA40 temp limiting. It's all I use at home and only use other stuff out and about. I am using dual 3 mm ss rope builds and the wicking is epic, only had them upto 40 W but they handle that with ease. For kanthal I am using 0.6 mm ribbon 5/4 wraps and on the DNA40 twisted 0.16 mm 6/5 wraps @ 1.1 ohm pic below. With the temp limiting and epic wicking I can turn the watts up and control the power by how fast I inhale from a leisurely savour the flavour inhale to as fast ling inhale as I can manage with great flavour. I haven't tried cotton yet as the two builds I have are just too good to replace and with my liquid cotton/Rayon wicks only last for a tank with the Orchid, but I just ordered a different clone and will have to force myself to give it a go.
