they can't really ban flavors. You just buy them separately and add them

No they cant ban flavours, but they can ban or restrict the sale of nicotine base, which would mean having to get a poisons licence so you could buy pharmaceutical nicotine from a chemist.  

I should have read the link before posting, but I saw it on the news and thought it was related to the will of the WHO to restrict and licence e-cig products which I think it is. The tempting flavours bit is just them justifying it under the guise of 'Save the children'.

you can also extract nicotine from tobacco , which is widely available . You can buy raw tobacco something like £20 per lb or 450g
I orderred some from the states that i think works out to about £13 per lb . I am not using it for that purpose but I could do , bit of a faff but it can be done and the process itself is quite simple . That's getting into mad max territory though

In the supermarket 50g of baccy will set you back around £16 , for four more quid you can get 450 g , i don't know why more smokers don't buy raw tobacco really
