That article by the independent is nothing but lies and scaremongering based on no evidence what so ever. What exactly are the "toxicants" that makes e-cig vapour as harmful as cigarette smoke? From the claim that vaping is controlled by "big tobacco" to the statistic that 43.9 per cent of young people who used e-cigarettes saying they intended to try conventional cigarettes in the following year the article is just rotten to the core!

It's no good rumbling away on Facebook or sending off emails that will never be read. Although it is nice to pretend that in a democracy, your voice might be heard...
As always when dealing with political issues - yes, it is! - ask yourself who benefits and who stand to make money from making vaping as unacceptable as smoking. Remember that when a government decides to regulate something, there are always serious tax revenues to be considered.

Anyone here who reads Christopher Snowdon's blog or who has read Iron Fist, Velvet Glove will understand that lying is the norm for the ban all brigade. Case in point here is that not one news item has been researched and reported on. They just take the press hand out and put it out to the masses. After all, if its on the BBC or in the Papers it must be true, right? That is what people like WHO are banking on to drive momentum and make the un-informed start looking for new lepers among the crowd. If just one so caller reporter actually invested some time in researching and gathering the facts before publishing an article it might actually do some good. But then again they are probably too busy down the pub standing outside in the rain having a fag.... Oh well.

The WHO has declared that Propylene Glycol is 'toxic'. (Telegraph today) What rubbish!
Although there have been varied evaluations for the previous years, there is no scientific evidence that the use of propylene glycol can cause danger to the vaper, or those around them. As a matter of fact, this substance, as well as being utilized in e-cigs, is to be found naturally in vegetables like tomatoes, potatoes, peppers etc. It has also been endorsed in the UK, to be utilized in food coloring, for reducing dehydration in food, cosmetics and medicine, like in asthma medicine.
Additionally, propylene glycol has also been endorsed in the USA for utilization in products like: (1) pharmaceuticals – oral, injectable and topical formulations; (2) beauty products like mousse, shampoo, bubble bath, after-shave, and deodorant; (3) baby wipes; (4) pet food, and (5) inhalers used by asthma patients.
Vaping is saving millions of lives - why does WHO want to outlaw it ?

Vaping is saving millions of lives - why does WHO want to outlaw it ? There is only ONE real reason , money. The more supposed professional bodies like the WHO say and do things like this , the more it looks that these organisations are being paid by large corporations to say things that they have either NO proof of or when there is proof , they just ignore it. Anyone with a double figure IQ can see this as clear as day , they're not fooling anyone , other than the uneducated sheep that just believe everything they read. It would only take one reporter to find evidence of this to bring down the entire organisation and everything that it has said , just one brave person. We only have to look at things like the expenses scandal and the phone tapping by newspapers scandal to show this. I wondered about that as well. And didn't a vaping lounge of some sort open up in an airport somewhere? What would happen to that I wonder
