Lets face it. If someones sending drugs, petrol or Semtex they aint gonna say, are they! What a stupid idea.

I've only been asked once and I queried it and the stupid woman behind the counter hesitated because she realised I wasn't impressed. It was juice and I said samples. But she was scared to delve further.

If they had a clue they would hand people a check list of non acceptable goods to fill in.

I just say 'toys' or 'gadgets'.

If they ask about batteries I always ask 'but I thought we weren't allowed to post batteries?' (double bluff)

If they want to know what the gadget is I'll always say 'gyroscopic flux regulator'. Questions seem to stop right there.

When I'm sending liquid I say make up samples and anything else I say computer parts. They've never asked to open a parcel and I'd tell me where to shove it if they did.

When I send stuff they only usually ask me if its anything on the prohibited items list & point to a picture.

This all started because they had a very small fire in a plane when someone posted loose batteries.

On the positives fed ex just delivered from china in 6 days and 10am in the morning rather than 6pm at night (as is normal for couriers round here - or parcel F**** - not at all)
