Battery taking over 12 hours to charge. Got a new battery. (proper new battery) - no joy with that either?

Any ideas? It doesn't hold it's charge for very long once it's charged and I'm not using a lot of interwebby on it

Help? Is my phone doomed?

Check the charger. Do you have anything else that uses a Micro USB charge connector?

Chargers fail a lot more often than most people think.

You can get from eBay for a couple of quid ammeters that plug into the USB lead that will tell you the charger output.

Charger is fine. Use it for everything from kindle to everything

Ordered new phone from amazon (good excuse)....nice Cubot S something or other. Fairly good reviews £85 well spent

my phone is a S3 but I cant use mine as a phone I can only use it as a tablet as the imei number has been turned off still trying to get it sorted though

I'd still check your charger, I use the wall plug type that takes the USB, we have an Apple iPad and a Samsung one even using the USB for each one, they wont charge the Apple, I tried another wall plug and it charges both with no problem,,

I had the same problem with my S3 when it was under warranty, they sent me a full report after fixing it, it was the micro usb socket on the phone, seems its quite a common problem

I've had mine for about 2 years or so and am no longer with the provider I got it from..

no a new phone cannot be beaten you will be a lot better off with a new phone I will be looking for a replacement phone myself when I find some time but I just don't have any time at the moment I use a S3 as a tablet at work and to make phone calls I use a old nokia with no memory socket no camera no Bluetooth no nothing it can just make calls and texts and nothing else

I just simply refuse to pay £300 plus for a new phone or end up with an expensive 2 year contract

Cubot just gotten. Now on first charge. Will leave it there till 10pm or so tonight then take off. Have no idea how long to leave on first charge LOL. Any ideas?

Big slim phone. Like it. Simple version of android but still. Does the job

Don't know about music and photos and yet to find an sd card to play with but so far so good...

Will give it a few days before posting a proper review on amazon. Only thing I don't like is the piece of plastic they call a case on amazon. Will crochet one for self later
