hello

a bit clueless here. I will be getting my first RDA - a fogger- and want to know what gauge kanthal i should i get for building my own microcoils . Also , is the fogger a ggod RDA , it's very cheap on myepack . Thanks

The fogger is an RBA as far as I am aware. RBA=rebuildable atomiser. RDA=rebuildable dripping atomiser. The RBA has a tank, the RDA has juice dripped onto the wick every few puffs. As for the kanthal gauge, it really is subective to what resistance you want and what device you have powering the fogger.

The fogger is a great RBA.

Try a single coil first, just to get a taste for the tank. Maybe a 2mm diameter coil of 8 turns of 0.28 kanthal for 1.6-1.8 ohms (depending on the length of the legs).

If subohming doesn't bother do the same with 2 coils, or increase the turns to 10, for 1.1-1.2 ohms (combined)

The fogger really is good to build on, and vape. Just watch the juice channels. Less wick is more for this, and only half way down the juice channels.

Once you get it you'l love it

That's your starter for 10.

Now you've got that it's down to fine tuning for your own taste. I use 8 wraps of 0.28 and 2.5mm diameter, but a more open coils than a microcoil, seems to give me more vapour and a smoother taste.

They do an RDA as well , or at least that's what it says on the product description , fogger RDA

I've just googled 'fogger rda' and most I find are badly described RBAs.

However @alopezg1 iseems to be correct. There are fogger RDAs

Ahh, I've seen the product you mean. It's basically a fogger rba without the tank. Personally, I'd pay the extra few quid for the tank version for flexability, after all, you can use many rbas as drippers if coled and wicked right. But that's straying. MyEPack do sell a dripper version by the looks of it.
