If you are using larger tanks such as protanks, aerotanks or RBA's you can save yourself a lot of trouble by following a little tip.
Screw the atty on as little as possible to secure a good connection(resistance is read correctly) then screw the Vamo's ring up to meet the tank. Teah, it may have a small cosmetic penalty, but it will prevent any undue pressure on the centre pin and save you a lot of hassle in the long run.

I have an mvp beauty ring screwed up to my atties underneath the vamo ring. No need to screw vamo ring up as mvp ring closes the gap.

Top tip thatguy and can be used for many other mods that suffer from centre pin issues from Ego's to MVP's

The standard beauty ring on my Vamo has a wider diameter than the PT2 that I use quite alot. All my ego beauty rings are shorter than my Vamos threading so I have to screw them up to my atties to stop any short or low load messages.

Another tip for vamo repairs (if you or someone you know has access to a lathe)
For vamos with the floating head, where the pin needs to be reseated after pin/grommet replacement or resoldering
1. Turn a small length of bar to the diameter of the smaller blind hole on the underside of the cap (8.5mm on the last cap I did)
2. Drill a 3.2mm hole into the centre of this piece(some pins need 3.5mm hole)
3. Place this under cap after grommet is inserted
4. Press the pin into place with the washer under the head of the pin
The tool will allow the pin to pass, but will block the grommet thus allowing the pin to be inserted without the grommet being pushed out.
