new washing machine

Cos the bearings were going on my fossilized bosch gotten from second hand store about 4 years ago

Argos have some good deals on right now so went with them. Guys were lovely but I was missing my spigot seal...

Resident numpty goes and gets a new spigot (note not new seal), then realises I've got a leak the other side of my p-trap..

I need a man

Man comes about 7 and fixes the leak yon side of p-trap in 10 minutes.. Says I need a seal for my spigot

Didn't sleep well and have had a bug so at plumbing store for 7.30am when they open. Buy new pipe thingy with spigot and seal. Can't get part of it off. Take off the pipe .....play with it (ended up trapping the seal half way down the pipe. Praise God for knitting needles)...8.30 - sorted.

Washing machine is now going through first rinse through after testing

Admittedly not as fancy as my last machine (could alter the spin etc etc) but 'aint bothered. Doesn't take 3 hours for a wash so am happy and the instructions are good

Argh the drama of my life. Yeah apart from carpet burns from trying to take things off with bare hands and a tea towel and a dodgy wrist from sleeping in the chair all is good LOL

I'm a single girl who moves sofas for fun single handedly LOL

Remember and check again for leaks at the hose seal after you have used it a couple of times. Sometimes they need a wee tighten up after it has bedded in.
