Boots Still Selling Glycerin / VG?

Wife went into our local Boots store (Congleton) today to get some VG only to be told they no longer sell it.

Is this just a local thing or has anyone else had the same response?

One of our customers told me they purchased a bottle today, maybe its just local?

£1.29 for 200ml at my local. Now to explain a little confusion re. the labeling. The label on mine states Glycerin B.P. but following that in brackets 'Glycerol' <<< that's the confusing bit.

Only when you tip the bottle and see how slow the bubble rises you realise it is indeed VG.

I've got 2 years supply, but found it hard to buy in summer, think it was then a winter stock thing, coughs and colds etc, thats why I bought loads when available (other half cannot resist a Boots so everytime she went in i just bought another bottle). If your in trouble pm me, send you one for postage cost.

Just quick further thought, postage come to more than 3 bottles cost these days, bloody royal mail, but thats another thread

And another thing, when it's on sale in winter and they question why you want 5 bottles, tell the truth, always works for me.

Never even considered the Winter / Summer thing, there's some logic there i suppose.

I'm out of VG, but that's because i mixed up 500ml of homebrew last night, thanks for the offer but don't actually need any for quite some time, i just like to have a reasonable stock of things.

If i don't spot any locally i might just order on-line & have it delivered to our local store.

Wife says she's never been asked what she wants it for, but she never buys more than 2 at a time.

Bought some yesterday from our local Boots

on the strength of this I phoned someone to get me 2 bottles they did and it was the last 2 in the shop sales assistant said it will be back in mid October

I got some last week. Before the who scare. First boots didn't have it in though the label was on the shelf. Second boots had it in. Told them exactly what it was for. Told them my wee vape story. One of the assistants said she should start vaping and good on me

Local Boots in Airdrie was sold out last weekend, but they still has price label on shelf and empty space for it. Boots stock a lot of stuff and if hey had stopped selling it, then the space would have been taken over by something else immediately.
