vaping in Thailand

O.K. i am a little worried as I have a planned trip to Pattaya in Thailand its not until next year but I have read you cannot buy or import ecigs there. That in its self doesnt bother me as id take my supplies but would I get arrested if I was say vaping in public? and if they where found on me in the airport? I really dont want to go back to cigarettes, i really dont but fear i would if i couldnt use my ecig.

Anybody have any experience of vaping in Thailand? i am actually quite angry like they allow normal cigarettes which are more harmful yet due to ill informed governments they ban something which has proved to allow 75% of users to completely stop smoking and lead healthier lives, these governments aint bothered about people loosing their lives through smoking but more about loosing money from the sales and taxes, isnt it bloody annoying?

On a positive note I have managed to convert 2 patients (im a RN) from nasty fags to ecigs both have managed to be cigarette free since using them. Id allow them on wards if i was a blinking matron! musch better than patients sneaking out for a quick fag and calmer patients= less stressful job!

I've been to Thailand twice since I switched to using e-cigs, and never had a problem taking and using my gear over there.

Even seen a few market stalls over there selling the small look a like E-cigs.
