Vaping and still smoking poll

I stopped smoking pretty much as soon as I started vaping, which was impressive since the OH kept smoking for at least a year after that, so the opportunity was there 24/7. I did occasionally have an experimental puff on a stinky in the beginning, but it made me feel ill and I had to vape for ages to get rid of the taste!

The OH dual fuelled for a year, partly because he simply wasn't as keen as I was to shake the stinkies. Upping the nic in his liquid was what turned the switch for him. Now neither of us can bear the thought of smoking.

Anyway Ive not had a smoke since I started vaping in February.

I had 3 ciggies on the morning of 15th March this year, then I started vaping, and I haven't even had a puff of one of the stinkies since, not bad after 50yr 20 a day habit, I feel so proud of myself and so do my 3 grown up sons and my wonderful hubby who stopped 20yrs ago and never complained once when I lit up bless him

Gave up on 13th September 2012, and have only had 3 cigs since, all foul, and none for over a year now. Can't abide the smell of exhaled fagsmoke, or a smoker's clothes and breath, although just occasionally the smell of freshly lit pipe or cigar smoke smells appealing for a few seconds.
I am so pleased that my wife started vaping about 2 months ago, and the house is now fag-free.
Wouldn't even entertain the idea of a cigarette now, and go out of my way to avoid smokers in the street. I don't know what made me think that smoking was alluring and appealing now . . .

not a one since I started vaping but I was out in my mini-bus last week and I have found a packet of 20 Regal KIng Size under the back seat that I put there last year in case I ever ran out of fags
I have replaced them with a bottle of juice 2 18650 batteries in a case a CE4 and a couple of ego batteries should keep me going if I am ever in the poop

Continued smoking for a couple of days after buying my first ego in March 2013, then realised the real secret to quitting cigarettes was to not buy any.

Not had one since my VGO kit dropped through the letter box almost a year ago.

Still got a half full 50g pouch of GV and a box of Silk Cut Purple stashed away somewhere. The last time I lit a cig was about six months ago, just to blow it into some kitchen roll along with blowing e-cig vaper into the same piece, just to demonstrate to the wife's mother (f***ing in-laws )....the shite I used to and what she still is, putting into her lungs.

Oh dear. I am still smoking occasionally but then I never took up vaping to quit just to give me an alternative. Medicinal herbs such as those I use to treat clinical depression, headaches and creeping arthritis are not yet available as juices but I live in hope that our rulers will grow up.

But there is nothing for you lot to be smug about now that Doctor W.H.O. has proved that even living in the same street as someone who vapes is invariably fatal. You're all going to die - probably tomorrow. It says so on the Internets.

Having failed with cigalikes, once I got a decent set up and resolved not to buy any more cigarettes, I've not had once since 19/12/13. I still sometimes can't believe that I've given up smoking

Two years gone last week. Had a couple of the odd night out in the early days, which made me feel awful. Now down to 4mg and pushing to get to 0, although still have over a litre of 72mg juice stashed away! At the weekend I woke up and didn't vape for the first six hours of the day without any issues.
