It was indeed Jane . . . whether to use foam or wadding in your cartridge was our greatest dilemma. And where to buy the wadding from? If I remember we were all best buddies with the local aquatic centre and it was like £2 for loads!!! These 'newbie' vapers these days not daring to try mechanicals have no idea of the complex world of variable this, variable that they delve into without so much of a second glance

Nope deffo not...the amount of mess I used to make in the mornings filling my cartos 'for the day' and then the amount of bank bags that I used with 'empty cartos' and 'cartos to be used' yes indeed Perpetua I am grateful for the improvements in tanks alone. How could you forget my first foray into 'carto tank making' - one nic overdose later and I order a $40 or something carto tank which I kill in about 2 weeks LOL

I remember swinging carto's (in a bag) around my head to apply centrifugal force to aid filling / emptying or something....
Twisting coil wires (before anyone else did it) to get better resistance and greater surface area.....
Constantly having a "damp patch" in my jeans.... from leaking clero's....
Using cotton for wicks (before it was widely known) and getting those yuck dry hits/burn flavours.....
Ahhhh..... those were the days!
Oh... I forgot the most important.... Introducing CCW concentrates to the forums.....
And.... giving a kick start to lots of mixers out there with THIS THREAD...... (most of you won't have seen this thread as it was many moons ago - but still very informative) So you see it's not all bad!

You did indeed Kev, all credit where it's due. Mixing has certainly come on hugely since I started, the range of flavours we now have available is fantastic compared to the early days - everything we need is pretty much available in the UK rather than having to shop overseas. Though whether my purse is grateful I'm not so certain. Still I'd only be spending the money on Vodka and wild men.

I'm really tempted to request 5 random flavours of their choice. But knowing my luck I'd get the prune and the onion flavourings in the selection.

Liberty Flights ( and others ) sell them cheaper than DV themselves. I did have it explained to me once why this was and it made perfect sense. Though I'll be blowed if I can remember what the reasons were now.

Happy Days lairey. Incredibly I've not succumbed to the multipack delights . . . . . yet. But it's only a matter of time.
