New skin for VTR

 I received my new skin for my vtr from the grand old US of A...& haven't a scooby how to apply it.

 It looks like something from the Krypton Factor... 

 Why don't they number the pieces...or is is just me?

Did yours come in pieces?
I got mine from j-wraps and it was in one piece
If its a J-Wrap it should just peel off the backing in one piece
It was a bit tricky to get right.

Start with the display and get it lined up square, make sure the thin strip to the right of the display runs straight at the edges down to the 510 connector.

If you get those straight, the rest should be easy to press down on the front face.

Then work it round the button side and the back, don't worry if its a little baggy at the bottom that's because of the contour the base has and needs the hairdryer after your done.

Do the same on the other edge following the 510 around so it lines up with that straight and around the back again.

Now if its baggy at the bottom use a hairdryer and heat and turn until its tight. Don't go mental with the hairdryer, but it does need heat to shrink and avoid getting a pleated look to it. 

My one covered the mirror bit at the top and bottom in the pic below. It even went around the ring though its hard to see that below.




I had to use a hot hairdryer after I wrapped it because there is a contour at the bottom so needs to be shrunk to fit
Didn't like it covering the top and bottom so after I was finished I used a scalpel to cut it along the top and bottom seam.


Preferred it like that.

vape space has some great looking graffiti wraps for the MVP and vapercaper has some nice textured and colour wraps
