Right then, as no-one else has suggested a date ..how about Saturday 27th September ? Scotch Hop also does food if anyone wants to eat.

I'd love to but would have to take three enormous dogs with me - most pubs wouldn't be even slightly keen on that.

 27th good for me...what time are you thinking, & will it be Causewayside ( for trains or buses, a short walk )

gill2009 It was the only place that said yes straight off without "oh well, Saturdays are busy, You might not all be able to sit together etc etc" What we could do maybe is arrange to meet at say Waverley steps and taxi share. I'll suss out what buses actually to past the pub too.I would guess it'd be about 10 mins or so on a bus from Princes Street or maybe 20 min walk.

 Sounds like a plan taz96...my problem is I live a looong way from Edinburgh with no buses after 6.30

27th is good for me. Not fussed time wise just whatever is best for folk travelling. The pub is only a 5-10 minute drive from my house anyway

Just need to call granny and see if she can babysit our Tazmanian Devils for the day

Early afternoon would be best for ourselves so we can get back to collect our little minions and save granny a night of terror.

Happy to go along with whatever is easiest/best for everyone re time/date, the only thing that might stop me coming is if my bod fails me. I'll need to make my own way there tho.

If other Saturdays after this one suit people better, PinkyPuff and mself could make these as well. Honestly, any Sat from 27th onwards is fine for us, childcare allowing.

Having a post birthday tea at newtondee at 2.30

Have invited 3-4 folk so can't make it...time sounds good. Everything else sounds good
