Hi all So the shiny monkey made me buy more kit ! honest it wasn't me Vamo V5 is hurtling across the ocean to me (hopefully) and i need a battery or batteries and a charger. I've been reading the threads but am still confused as to what i need. Its all numbers to me and i was never good with them. From what i have read i need either 18650 or 18350 batteries. But, do i need 1 x 18650 or 2 x 18350 ? Surely if you have two then they will be in series and the voltage would be too high ? Or do you just use one 18350 at a time and people say get two so one is a spare ? So what i'm asking is what do you recommend to get to power my new shiny ? Need a charger as well please Links appreciated Thanks all

The vamo takes 1 x 18650 or 1x18350 or 2x 18350. using 2 18350 stacked is not generally recomendded. suggest tou buy 2 of each from someone like myepack, or Torchy over on ukv, personally I use a nitecore intellicharger i4 charger again myepack sell these Bofh

I am sure will get alot advice, but here is what I use on my vamo Batteriesand charger .One battery last me all day. Pretty sure you use 18350 if want to remove one of the tubes and make vamo look smaller. Anyway experts will be here with answers short.

As above, DONT stack the batteries, get 2x 18650 for normal use and/or 2x 18350 for stealth use, batteries from Torchy direct and definately a Nitecore charger, the D range is out now (and worth the extra) but watch out for good deals on the older i range

One 18650. Nothing else makes sense. It is cute with ONE 18350 but lasts about half a day or less if you actually vape on it!

For reference: 18650 means 18mm diameter x 650mm long 18350 means 18mm diameter x 350mm long therfore 2x 18350 stacked would be 50mm longer than 1x 18650

If you can wait around 3 weeks Fastech are the best on price, get a D4 if you can, the extra capacity is VERY useful (I charge my AA & AAA batteries on it as well) and the price is very similar

I learnt from stacking batteries when I first got my vamo and knew no different the extra combined length of 2 x 18350 batteries buggered up the spring so when I did fit a 18650 it didn't work

Whoops.... my mistake, I normally use old currency, this new fangled stuff confuses me That would be one nice Vamo though with a 650mm battery
