My brand new emow battery has stopped working. It flashes 15 times when pressed which tells me it's flat. Both my chargers show a green light which tells me it's fully charged.
So is it the battery or do I need to replace both chargers?
I should add that I don't have the designated Emow charger. My emow battery has worked fine for the couple of weeks I've had it though using my old chargers.
Help please! Thanks in advance.

Hi mollyMake sure all your connections are clean (use a cotton bud) it's probably a connection issue between your charger and battery. You may need to raise the centre pin on the battery if it's not a sprung type.

I don't over tighten anything so can't be that.
I've cleaned and there's no change.
Thanks for your help.
Any other suggestions?

As seen as you've had it only a few weeks, I would contact the vendor. They should offer to check it out and replace if necessary. Do you have the Mow charger to test it using that?

No I don't have a USB lead for it as I bought my emow battery and tank as separate items. Looks like I will have to return yet another battery!
At this rate I'll be forced to buy a packet of 20. Quit vaping and start smoking!

So what chargers have you got Molly? What do they say on them?
When you screw the battery on - I know that the chargers stay green - but, do they initially, briefly change colour to acknowledge that the battery has actually made a contact?

I saw in the other thread your having trouble getting hold of the vendor. Find there vendor thread in the 'Vendor boards' section and tag them in a message, that should help get you noticed.

The only conceivable things that can be causing this are:
1. Faulty charger 2. The centre pin has been pushed too far down into the battery. This is not always caused by overtightening, it can get sticky with juice. Try lifting it with tweezers. 3. Occasionally a build up of juice in the 510 socket or on the battery contacts can congeal, preventing proper electrical contact. 4. Broken wire to the centre pin in the 510 socket (caused by overtightening the charger) - ironic?
Not necessarily in that order. I suspect the pin personally.

To clear this up, that is another vendor. This new battery was purchased from a different vendor, who I rang today and they said send back to them. I will wait to find out what their CS is like.

Jason, I'm using my 2 Evod chargers. I've tried the battery on both. The colour stays green on both. All my brand new shiny emow battery does is flash 15 times. I can't switch it off either. Yet both my chargers say it's charged up. It was fine yesterday!

I've lifted the centre pin, I've swopped chargers, nothing changes. I'm about to throw it across the room.

A bit of a long shot, but I sometimes find that just loosening off the charger connection to the battery does the trick and the charger turns red.

If it doesn't make the charger flash briefly to acknowledge the connection and you have definitely raised the centre pin, then either the positive to the pin or the negative to the base has disconnected. It's usually the negative wire to the base with Kanger batteries and can happen with a knock or drop very easily. But, it will need re-soldering.
