Quick battery /ohms question

Just got some 0.8 ohm kanger coils ( heard they are rubbish ! ) can I use my normal efest/Panasonic batteries or do I need new sony v5s ? (Mech mods )

Is this in a mech mod jaysey ?

You should be ok with your standard batteries.

The problem you may be having is the resistance is too low, so it's too hot and may even be burning your juice.

Assuming 4.0volts on the battery, it's actually running at 20watts

Yes, these heads could only have been designed with regulated mods in mind.

not tasting burnt just warm ! Il persevere and let the coil bed in ! Got another 50 of my usual 1.8 if I don't like it !!
Brining on the vodka soon ! That will cool it down

most vw mods won't read a 0.8 , I read it somewhere ? Il try it on vamo or vtr later

I'm sure my VTR read down to 0.5ohm. Definitely fired a 0.8 tho they are limited at 5 amps. Should be fine

just tried it - vamo will read 0.8 but won't fire
My vtr is very tempremental ! Always changing it's mind ! Said 1.8 then 1.9 then 1 !! Always does this for some reason ! It still fires though !
Still prefer my mechs tasting better now (the vodka may be helping )

I find the sweet spot for mechs would be 1.5ohm. But depends on the juice, and your personal taste.
