And a charger for a jump start! Glad I inspired you to have a go. Ohms jumping about a bit this morning but settled on 1.7 which isn't too shabby. Super-Shiny why do ohms go higher then lower? I've had this before but never figured it out

Snip with nail cutters! I'm set to invisible in profile settings When you cut with nail cutters there is always a tiny bit of leg that sticks out.You can solve this by getting a flat bladed screwdriver and gently pushing in the slight bit of leg in ( do this for both legs ) , thus avoiding shorts , that's why I think you maybe getting your ohm's moving about a bit , a very slight short when putting the tank to your mouth it moves just slightly and when checking your ohms again it changes slightly. That's why I now use the helicopter method, when the leg snaps off it snaps off just slightly INSIDE the grommet but still connected properly , I have had NO moving ohms on my heads since. Also with the helicopter method there is also no risk of cutting the grommet either, as I've also done this in the past too. A BIG tip for the helicopter method is this :- If your right handed , like me , turn the head upside down so the metal pin is at the top , put your index finger on the bottom ( where the coil is ) and then put your thumb on the metal pin and hold it quite tightly so the metal pin doesn't move while you're moving the legs. For a little bit of extra security , keep the drill bit ( or whatever you use ) through the coil , so the microcoil doesn't move either, then use the helicopter method to remove the legs and job done, just need to put the wick in. I have done this method for about 20 coils now.I use 0.25 kanthal, 7 wraps round 1.5mm rod ( using the "Easy Coil" ) and get either 1.5 or 1.6 ohms every single time and it never moves from that figure through the life of the coil.I redo a coil 3-4 times a week as I use VG heavy E-Liquids , so the more time you do it, the easier it becomes. Andy

As what Montana said above @spikeyfridge and also to add to that when putting the head in don't over tighten it as this can make the centre pin move which will in turn move the legs, same applies when putting the atty on a mod.

With rayon I occasionally get a slightly burnt taste at the beginning which vapes offafter a while, remember wit rayon you need to pack the coil and I always put a good few drops of liquid on the wick and coil and leave to soak in the rest of the liquid in the tank for about 5 mins. flavourtank
