So you fill it up and once the right way up it looks half full .... So .... Plug the drip tip with a cotton bud or rolled up kitchen roll .. Fill to brim , screw on the bottom , pull out the cotton bud and hey pesto a full tank and no leaks or gurgles did it half hour ago and no problems

I think all tanks should be top fill, would make life a lot easier - no need to take it off the mod - and no need for screws if you use a replaceable silicon plug.

Thanks for that jaysey! I've just ordered the mini (an upgrade for me), and have seen vids where they were bemoaning the fact that you couldn't really "fill" them. I'll be giving it a try

My preferred solution to the age old aerotank fill level issue is pop the stainless steel tank on it and fill - now you have no idea what the juice level is but it looks ace anyway - problem solved.
