ive just got the clone from ft and set it up with a single wick and cotton. liking it very much i was wondering if i could use dual coils with it on my provari? ive never tried a 2 coil set up before so im quite clueless. i have .20 and .28 kanthal wire and prefer cotton wicks. i have a tobh, rose and magma on the way from china along with a dna 30, so i think i need to learn about dual coils

Dual coils can be a bit confusing because the target resistance depends on the gauge of Kanthal and the amount of wraps in the coil, a dual coil of 4 wraps per coil using .20 Kanthal will be around .8 ohms, the same set up using .28 Kanthal will be around .4 ohms. Have a play with this it will give you a better idea of the combinations than my feeble attempts!
