I have been keeping all my stuff in the coolest part of the house but even then its over 20, today I was charging a battery ego type and half way through I don't know why but I picked it up it was boiling hot I quickly unplugged it put it in a mug and shoved it in the shower cubicle in case it blew up, could it have been the travel adapter the heat or should the battery be binned?

20 degrees should have no impact on your hardware. I would say dispose of the battery safely. But keep an eye on the charger as well. You could always get ronaldo to give the charger a quick once over?

fred is right, there is no way that 20 degrees should effect your charger or battery.

+1 for what fred says, and in future make sure any charger you plug into the mains is fully compatable with the power unit you are using.
