Ordered shoes from ebay. Said they would arrive last wednesday or thursday. Guy was using hermes.
Politely asked him on friday when hermes would deliver as had been waiting in all day (this is was about 4/5pm) and raised a ticket because normally hermes are am or lunchtime
He said wait for the parcel and closed the ticket
Now hermes say they delivered yesterday at 3.30pm or so and I jolly well know they did not!!!. Contacted the seller as couldn't raise a ticket (because it just kept saying ticket closed). He said he would contact Hermes but that was this morning
What do I do next? I either want a refund or my shoes - simples. It was buy it now on ebay and I paid by paypal

Don't know if this helps but lately when I've been getting anything from ebay I've noticed there's a bit saying payment deferred for 14 days, think it may be for just this kind of problem so hopefully you can still stop payment for non delivery of goods?

I ask seller once where stuff is. Most bend over backwards to resolve. If seller responded like yours did, straight to PayPal dispute. How rude of them!

We have a hand held which we have to enter on it exactly where the parcel has been left ( if know one is in ) and leave a card through your door telling you where it is. If you were in they will have a signature on hand held.( check no one else in household took it in or neighbour) ask hermes for a printout

do you by any chance have a phone number that's reliable for hermes padiho? If you want to pm it that's fine. All the ones I googled were useless!!!

Can't you claim through PayPal? Goods not received Paypal just refer to ebay. Ebay say there's nothing I can do bar phone the seller if at all

Pull sellers contact details (they will get yours) then ring the seller. Its not up to you to chase Hermes around the country. My stuff had 17 attempted deliveries yet no cards left and someone was here all the time! My seller chased it up via email. On 'contact seller' , what options are there? Or is that greyed out now?

Forget raising a ticket - open a dispute! Its your money. item not received, seller has 8 days to respond before case is closed. You can always close the dispute if shoes do turn up. The onus is on the seller not you

As @spikey_fridge said. Open a case with ebay under resolve a dispute. If the seller does not respond or sort it out, you will get an automatic refund. The onus is on the seller to sort it out with the courier as they have entered into a contract with them, not you. I've had probs like this on many occasions and take it from me unless its proved you took delivery, you will win.
