Oily Juice

I need some advice, I got some Blueberry juice just over a week ago and tried it straight away as you do, Nice Blueberry Smell, not bad taste but a bit chemically, put it away to steep, thought I'd give it another go today, now it only has a feint Blueberry smell and when I Vape it, it seems to have no Blueberry taste it just taste oily, the juice is 18mg 40/60 with 20% extra flavour, do I contact the vendor??? or can I just add a bit of Blueberry concentrate to bring it back and how much in 30ml's, the vendor has good reviews but I'm lost on what to do next,, I would have thought the taste would have improved with a weeks steeping even though the vendors says it's better with two to three weeks, but it honestly taste like I'm vaping oil,,,

I'm not sure if this is the same but I got some Lime Sparkle recently from Fair City Vapes. That appeared to be a bit oily and I was a bit unsure at first, having said that it vaped beautifully straight away with no oily flavour and after a week of steeping and a couple of hours to breathe it's as clear as day now. It goes cloudy when shaken but still goes back to a nice clear after and the taste is even nicer now.

Don't take this the wrong way and I know how impatient I am with these things but if the vendor says to leave it 2-3 weeks to steep, I'd try and leave it at least that before you contact the vendor, though I wouldn't expect any e-juice to taste of oil when vaped.

I'd honestly give it a damn good shake, leave it open for an hour, shake it again and put the lid back on, stick it in a dark place and leave it the remainder of the time they said, shaking it every couple of days.

If it's still the same, contact the vendor.

Thanks Rich! wasn't sure because it taste worse now than when I got it, I always replace the air in it and give a good shake a couple of times a day, but like you say I'll give it the three weeks, if it hasn't improved by then I'll get in touch with the vendor,,,,

mowjo one way you can test if the liquid is oily is to put an inch or so of water in a clear glass & drop a couple of drops of the liquid into it if its oily it will float on the top of the water, if not oily it should disperse.

Thanks Dina! just did what you said and it's leaving an oily film on top, do I presume it needs longer steeping and a lot more shaking, as I said I can't taste the Blueberry, it's almost like it's a vegetable oil taste which I presume could be to do with it being 40pg and 60vg, it's my first time with made to order juice so I have no idea what I'm doing,,

Surely if it floats on water and is oily it shouldn't be vaped? Just off to try one of my home brew liquids with water

Found out the sometimes the ingredients can separate, and won't mix back together, I'll shake the hell out of it, it might work,,

I would never vape anything that may have oil in it

If theres the slightest suspicion of oil in it i personally wouldnt touch it.

Jim at JJ's assured me they don't use oils in any of their juices, but there was definitely an slight oily film when I did your test, I'm wondering if it's residue from the manufacturing of the plastic bottles, Jim has sorted me out anyway so those will be binned now, I just tested all my other juices as well and they disperse fine,

Well my new replacement Juice came from JJ this morning, and it they taste half as good as they smell I'll be a happy bunny, Jim gave me a choice to a straight replacement for the Blueberry or try something different, I ended up going for Apple Pie and Irish Cream in 18mg 50/50 extra flavour, I've heard here both are nice, I have a question though what's the best ratio for flavour, I played safe and went for 50/50 but I see a lot of you go for 70/30 and other variations,
