I have a question though what's the best ratio for flavour, I played safe and went for 50/50 but I see a lot of you go for 70/30 and other variations, Mow,,,, Personally, I think it makes no difference if the flavouring percentage is right for your individual tastes. For myself I mix VG heavy brews and use exactly the same flavouring ratios as I do for friends who can tolerate PG. It's more important to give certain flavours time to steep/infuse whatever balance of PG/VG is used. That's my own finding anyhow . . . .

It's all a black art to me Perp! what do you steep? what you don't need to steep, Volts, Watts , PG, VG, just when I get the hang of something I read something else that confuses me, and that's not hard,, I had some Butterscotch the was rubbish even after 3 weeks steeping, I was going to bin it but forgot, just tried it again after another week, after I found it in the cupboard and it's tasting a lot nicer now, so at least I've learn not to throw any juices away just keep trying them, I still can't work out watts for my MPV tried all the settings from 8w up to 11w they still taste the same, just 11 gives a lot more vape and uses a lot more juice, I've settled for 8.5w now as that seems to suit all the juices I have, and I've noticed something odd since I got my MVP, before when I had my Evod glass and little 650ah battery a lot of people would ask what it was, I've had the MVP around a week and so far not one person has mentioned it, I reckon they think it's a mobile, Mow,,,,

mowjo higher % of PG gives more flavour & throat hit but as some people develop a sensitivity to PG they would either go 50/50 or whatever suits them. Higher % of VG gives better vapour if you are a cloud chaser. If you like lots of flavour JJ among others have an option of choosing the strength flavour that suits you best, or you could buy a bottle of the same concentrate & add a few drops at a time to your ready mixed liquid until you get your desired taste, see JJ's home page about Flavour Guide. Most home mixers on the forum mix at 20% flavour, not sure what % Jim mixes at, it may be worth sending an email & asking him.

Usually fruits/mints/menthol type juices are good to go straight away but custard/creamy type liquids require from 3 weeks upwards to get the best from them as the flavours need to mingle to infuse, someone with more knowledge will be able to explain better than me as i don't like creamy/custard type juices. Oh & you never throw any juices away as what you hate one week may become your favourite in a few weeks.

Thanks Dina! I use JJ's with the extra 20% flavour, as someone here told me some of his flavours can be a bit weak, you have actually answered another question I asked somewhere here about adding a bit more concentrate, now I know I can! I'll be ordering some, I think I'll have to stick with 50/50 I'm weird! I don't like a big throat hit, it reminds of that sting after smoking, but then I'm not into clouds of Vape, Mow,,,

mowjo everyones likes/dislikes tastes etc are different thats what makes us all individual. Once you get to know which liquids you like you would be much better off mixing your own juices it is so easy to do & you mix it to your own liking, it saves you loads of money too, my mixes cost me approx 80p per 10ml bottle so as i only vape between 10 - 15ml weekly it only costs £1-20 ish. Give it some thought theres loads of help on here for you.

Don't forget to allow steeping time when you have added extra concentrate to custard/creamy liquids.

Been thinking of making my own juices, I fell in love with Druid but at £6 to £8 for 10mls it can get expensive, I'm trying to sweeten the Wife up at the Moment because she said "I thought you said it would be cheaper than Smoking, it is if I didn't keep listening to you lot here and spending all my money on kit, at least I have my MVP now, so my only expense will be coils and juice, luckily she hasn't noticed I double ordered some 30s coils from Fastect, I forgot I already had 10 in my basket clicked buy now, it wasn't till I got the confirmation E/mail I realised I'd ordered 20, I think I may need to hide for a while,,,

Oops you'll have to show your OH your vaping banner & deduct what you've spent on vaping you should be seeing some savings now. Seriously though if you're happy with the MVP & can resist shiny temptation then after the initial outlay for all items needed to mix your own liquids you will be ££££ in.

I prefer 50/50 or even 40/60 as throat hit is not really a issue with me and I'm not a lover of high pg liquids they always taste really dry.hence inorefer higher VG.
