made a batch last week at request of a mate, though it is nice it doesn't taste of bubblegum, more like Refreshers, anyone got a recipe for a "lubbley Bubbley" taste alike? as that is what he was looking for as his budget is not stretching far enough for the real deal from Griz on a regular basis.

Pink Spot "Strawberry Bubble Gum" is the closest I've found to an authentic bubble gum flavour almost leaves a bubble gum sensation in the mouth (if that makes sense) worth trying. Wasn't quite what I was looking for though. I've been trying to find a bubblegum flavour similar to what's in Wrigleys Extra "Bubblemint" Chewing Gum. Very nostalgic flavour, tastes just like those little strips of American gum that came in trading card packs when I was a young-un, like "Garbage Pail Kids" etc

I was an avid collector at primary. Complete Beatles, Stones, 2nd World War, American Civil War, wish I still had them as very collectable now. But as I recall the bubble gum was horrible, now Bazooka Joe was real American bubble gum.

I'm with you on that one sydsut wish I'd kept a lot of the stuff from my childhood, some of it would be worth a small fortune now! Was probably "Bazooka Joe" that was in those packs I'm thinking of, both made by the same company "Topps"
