Not vapers tongue, something different

Ok so we've all heard of vapers tongue.
Well ive been getting something completely different which is a taste that remains on my tongue that can only be described as if ive been eating my own ear wax, nice lol.
I only use two flavours,  a tobacco and something called seven stars which i cant really describe lol.
Both are 100% natural vg.
This effect can last a day or sometimes more and then will disappear for days on end before i get it again.
Does this happen to anyone else or am i just weird.

VG is thicker so could it be a build up of residue, coating tongue. Do you brush your tongue with toothpaste? Other than that, I don't have a clue

I think I know what you mean, and if so I describe it as vapers tongue.

I used to get it all the time with red Astaire, I likened it to eating dog food, or dog food that has come out of the other end,

not that I have eaten either of those but the taste is just so horrendous.

In those instances I vaped extra strong menthol only for 24/48 hours.

Brushing your teeth, and tongue, right to the back so you gag, helps but the only cure seems to be time.

Minty menthol! I didn't smoke them but I do occasionally vape them. Especially spearmint. It seems to cleanse the palate
