I'm playing with an idea of building a box for myself , basically 18650 battery ,switch , box will do me . Can I just use 1 or 2 amp push to make switch ? I'm not in to subbing 1.2 is about as low as I go really , getting myself a little confused with it all .... Any help would be great full cheers ric

4.2 V / 1.2 ? = 3.5 A and the thing with those switches is they can arc and weld the contacts together or get too hot and get stuck on. Be extra vigilante about the switch getting hot. The safe way to do is is to make a switch circuit using a FET you should find examples of these on breaktru.
