Hi Friends,
Here's a review of a French juice, but don't let that stop you
This manufacturer makes some of the finest juices I know. Without them I would very likely still be on analogs.
Sensual Marrakech
by E-Volutes, FranceThis is a voluptuous, nearly curvaceous, juice.
The main flavours are : orange blossom water, almonds, honey, and cinnamon. In the background, you can taste a hint of citrus fruit and sumac.
First off, you get the honey and almonds, like a true Moroccan pastry. So, you're thinking, this is going to be on the sweet side. But then, the orange blossom and citrus refresh the mix and transport you to an evening on a Moroccan terrace. The cinnamon is actually "cannella", a more grown-up, more serious kind of cinnamon. It completes the mix with an oriental touch but not quite like in a classic pastry. It feels more like getting whiffs from the spice stands while strolling through the souks of Marrakech.
I honestly thought this wouldn't be for me. It sounded too sweet. But there actually is very little sugar. The opulence you get is from the balance of rich and smooth flavors, freshened up by the flowery-citrusy notes.
I really appreciate this juice. A complete change from your average banana-toffee-crackers recipe, it provides great comfort and unctuous pleasure with an adult kind of balance. After a long and tiring day, I find it smoothly comforting, yet refreshing and filled with oriental dreams.

Sales price : 10,40 Euros, that's roughly £8.15, for
15 ml.
Comes in a (very beautiful) glass bottle.
Website and orders :
www.e-volutes.com/product.php?id_product=77They ship to the UK. They're usually very fast, under 48 hrs for France. They speak English, should you need to contact them.
If you try their juices, I'd love to know what you think!
I don't work for the manufacturers nor represent them in any way. I've come to meet them - they are a really nice couple, with a criminal record as cookbook writers, so they know their flavours - and I enjoy their creations, but that's it.
Apologies for the clumsy English, folks.
