Received flavourings this morning to make Custardy Lovechild and just made 50ml.
I know it needs steeping for 4-6 weeks but would it improve by letting it breathe. If so, for how long?
Thanks
Steve

Nice try crystal but the answer is no, not really. With CLC there is no substitute for patience! My current batch was mixed in April and it's bloody lovely

Wasn't really thinking of reducing steeping time but improving flavour

Wasn't really thinking of reducing steeping time but improving flavour I don't think it does. I did a batch ages ago and coffee frothered half of it for about 10 mins and when I came to taste it a few months later, they both tasted exactly the same.

April And I thought I was doing well with a mix done in August! When this batch is done, I have a June and a July batch to go, before I hit the August batch. Going to mix my 2nd Sept batch tomorrow

I've got the one from August 15th in wait and I made 40mls more early September. Trouble is, I've not really tested it to know if I like it, so mixing another 40mls might not be a good idea just yet. So I'm patiently

Thanks a lot lairey. I'll have to hide it away now so I'm not tempted to try it. Must remember to give it a shake now and then

So I'm patiently You should be ok to at least test the Aug batch... it will be good enough to know if you need to start mixing it by the gallon
