theses SCAMS ARE A BLOODY PAIN
Today i got a call from someone claiming to be from the general county court London
they told me that a claim i maid in 2009 to retrieve money that the banks had taken in charges
since i don't remember doing that alarm bells started ringing in my head

will they tell me that I have £3450 to claim and some one was going to bring the cheque to me at 2.30 today and that person would company me to the bank to make sure the cheque gets cashed ok

and there would be a £100 charge for legals fee's which they wanted a u cash voucher
the gave me alot of access numbers and codes
got a return call telling me to go get the voucher told then i could not go get it then they got a little arrogant when i told them i had spoke to the police and consumer people and well as calling the court in London
end of call i said post the cheque and i will forward payment and said goodbye with a slam of the phone
if they were genuine they would have called back ..... more to the point if they were genuine they would have sent a letter to me asking me to contact them

anyway

please be aware of this sort of thing

That's worse than the one were they ring you up saying they ate from Microsoft and they need to access your computer,
They really have some front trying to rip you off on the phone, sending an email is bad enough but actually trying to talk you on the phone and do it grrrrrrrr they need stringing up
