Just as important is charger buddy! Don't skimp on it and end up with some dodgy "trustfire" thing... Trust me you don't want anything with "fire" in the name when dealing with lithium batteries

Found these for £11 from the same supplier.
2x Samsung SDI INR 18650 20R 2000 mAh Li-NiCOMn Unprotected
are they ok or is the extra money well spent on the other 2500mah?

25R are rated at 20amp continous 20R are rated at 22A continuous Depends what you want them for buddy. Personally I would get some VTC3.. I think they are better than the VTC4 & VTC5

Also depends if you are needing them to last a full day while out or just at home while cloud chasing etc...
If you have access to a charger throughout the day etc...

I don't tend to vape at work any more so just for evenings. Think I'll go for the vtc3's then!
Thanks for the help

Yeah I find the VTC3 hits a lot harder than the rest of them, but the trade off is they are 1600mah,which for just in the house is more than fine.
Grab a pair and always keep one charged.

The XTAR are just re-wrapped VTC4's (confirmed) so you Cannie really go wrong with them. The 4 and the 5 are great I just think the more Sony have tried to squeeze in capacity wise the weaker hit (internal resistance)

The mod making from the states who makes the ogre mod I own recently did a test of the top batteries. this test was done in: mech mod semi mech reg mod the sony vtc5 was amongst the bottom with panosonics....the top 2???? Samsung 25r and the purple efest (both 20a and 30a) the vt4 was a close contender but it's price kept it from the top 3 in every test, he didn't test the vtc3 but goes to show it doesn't always pay to "follow the crowd" also he doesn't sell batteries and no links were given to were he purchased them from!! if I can post the link I will

Yeah thats a pretty sweet deal TBH, can't go wrong at that price. Seeing that VTC5s go for the same price as that but EACH, IMO VTC3s are going to start becoming popular again soon Another cell I keep hearing about is "imren" both their 18650 and 26650... Though am yet to do any research and see any real world test results.
