So anyone who is into "chasing clouds" or just enjoys a nice sub ohm build will be aware of the rip off that is "G-plat" Their 20G Wire works out to be about £15 for 6ft or something as ridiculous. Well after someone sent some for testing and it was revealed to be 317L wire it was only a matter of time before someone released it at a reasonable price! Well wait no longer.. Greyhaze have released it in multiple gauges to suit everyone's needs at a reasonable £5.49 for 10mtr.. greyhaze.co.uk/collections/ecigs-just-arrived/products/317l-coil-wire-g-platt-typeStill pricey but a Damn slight cheaper! And having played around with 317L myself it certainly performs exactly the same as G-plat Finally G-plat for the working (or jobless) man

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they only had 316 when I last checked. 317L is really REALLY hard to find in anything smaller than 20g and in anything less that 500kg drums... Little too much, even for my coiling needs

So having had a play with this stuff it's fantastic In 26g it withstands heat soo well.. When torching regular kanthal if you're not careful and hold your torch for a second too long then you get all "limp wire" but this still doesn't do that at all. Its also easier to wrap and keeps its shape a lot more. All In all, great wire

bought some 24 gauge to try next to my normal Kanthal 24G
This stuff beats it hands down
so much easier to work with, heats up a lot quicker and the vapour is fantastic
Ive got 2 TOBH V2 clones, one with Kanthal and one with this, both at 0.3 ohm and the difference is night and day

I find its not springy at all and really keeps it shape.

Nice, what gauge did you get? Really haven't thought about it in an RBA I use it for the clouds. Fingers crossed I get my squape sorted form the group buy and can try some out. @zero,this is identical (I also have genuine Gplat) Biggest difference is that with the 317L I don't have to choose between vaping or eating I can afford both with 317L, hehe.

I got the 26G (0.4mm) Marcus. Keeping my coils to the same design as 0.5mm Kanthal, just one extra coil. Soooo easy to work with. I'm also really proud to have been involved (in a small way) in the takedown of the rip-off merchants. Haven't got my DMM with me, but I'm guessing it came out @ 0.8ohms.

Couldn't agree more with you. But as far as I know GH are the only ones stocking 317L..... are they to be trusted given some previous problems? GPlat or type seems to only be for the lower ohm. Good (and easy) it is, but not totally for replacing A1. Their days will change when almost non resist wire replaces them given advances in temp control mods. Hopefully the days of the vendor screwing us will soon be over!....(I wish)
