I had a few issues with them last week after a phone call but they rectified the situation and apologised for the cock-up.
So will be doing further business, especially since they have just got the copper rig mod in stock =o

Haven't got my DMM with me, but I'm guessing it came out @ 0.8ohms. Turned out to be 0.6ohms. But who cares, this is great stuff. A great partner for rayon.

I read a while back that Gplat was just 317l welding wire will try find link EDITfound link look hereHence the title "Gplat for the WORKING man" Even if it's not exactly the same it performs EXACTLY the same. I have built identical builds side by side and there is absolutely no difference at all. Just recoiled an atty with the 24g and it really is just a dream to work with. The fact it has all the tension taken out the wire makes wrapping with it soo easy.

Got some of this to give it a try (0.4), arrived yesterday very quickly posted. I use my own tobacco liquid and can't tell too much difference between this and kanthal, maybe ever so slightly (very very slightly) more flavour, but this could just be the difference between coils. It is working very well though at 0.5 ohm coil in my Squape R.

Difference for me is the quickness that the coils heat up and cool down. Kanthal seems to have a lag in reaching its full "ooomph" where as with this it's instant. How pliable it is also is what has me sold, it's soo soft and stays put soo much easier than kanthal

But at well over double the price of kanthal ( 317L 0.4mm £5.49 for 10m VS Kanthal 0.4mm £1.90 for 10m ) I will stick with kanthal Excerpt from HERE

Sorry. I just can't get on with it. I'm happier with the kanthal, but each to his own eh?

Can I retract that statement? Was having problems with burning, but was just about to break my rose down for a recoil and noticed a dry spot in the wick. Gonna give it one last try but honestly I'm having trouble getting a large enough coil to hit 1 ohm in my rose. Does anyone supply smaller than 0.4mm? ETA: I was wrong to even attempt it in the rose. Just done the fogger, dualed 3mm dia 9 turns wicked with KGD, came out at 0.4ohms. Seems the wicking is handling it - lesson learned
