Hello all! I started vaping about a month ago with an EVOD glass SS and a Kanger Protank Mini 3 using stock 1.5 ohm and 1.8 ohm dual head coils. I can now confirm that I love vaping and enjoy trying all sorts of e juice! I really liked the kit but I think it is time to move onto something much better! I also recently picked up some 50/50 e-juice from joose juice. I didn't like the throat hit 70/30 juice provided so decided to drop to 50/50 and experiment. This may sound silly but when vaping the 50/50 on my current kit (using a 1.8 ohm dual coil) I found that the vapor production was pretty poor compared to 70/30 (using a 1.5 ohm dual coil). From research, I found that more vg should generate more vapor. Could it be possible that my kit couldn't handle the juice? I was only getting a decent vapor plume after taking a lung hit. Furthermore:- - I would like to have a battery that lasts me the whole day, if not more. - I would like a reasonable sized tank. - It would also be great if you could specify what coils are needed as well! I greatly appreciate the help and I look forward to hearing from everyone! Thank you! OpenSecret

Hi You should get more clouds from VG, either your tanks aren't wicking very well or the juice's water ratio is off. Bigger tank options: Full sized nautilus (get the BVC coils, the BDC ones are ok but not nearly as good) For stock coils that is as good as it gets vapewise for me. If you are happy to fiddle then I would recommend the aerotank mega with microcoil and cotton. Kanger stock coils have never impressed me, but recoiled and wicked they are great. If you don't want to learn how to recoil then both Virtual Vape and naturevape do premade microcoils which, if you learn how to rewick (simple, easy and necessary because although cotton wicks so much better it doesn't last as long as traditional wicks) then a lot cheaper in the long run than buying "throw away" heads. I am not the only one to find the vape from this kind of set up pretty darn good Battery wise there are a lot of options on the market atm. The Mvp2 is a reliable favourite, but even it is being overshadowed by recent arrivals. The eleaf iStick is causing a stir, and for good reason. It isn't as good as some of the more expensive options, but it is worth the money they are asking for it. Have a look about and see which batteries you like the look of and then ask here if it is any good. That will save time as going through all the options would take a while The higher the mah rating the longer it should last between charges.

Hello! Thanks for responding! I have no experience in this department but the eleaf iStick looks good. I'm struggling to find a vendor who stocks them in the UK and looks somewhat legit. I also don't know how this compares with an mvp2 etc as I've only ever had small ego batteries. Regarding the coils, I like the idea of the premade micro-coils although I have never re wicked coils etc and am not sure if I have the tools to do it as I am away from home for university. I'm also worried about the cost of the coils. For £4 per microcoil, how many times could I rewick it before it goes bad? The aerotank mega looks awesome but I've just seen the price of it! It might be a maybe, depending on how much everything else costs. xD Thank you very much for your input! EDIT - I've also just remembered that when I got my 10ml taster juices from joose juice, the bottles were 3/4 full. Does the whole bottle represent 10ml or is it bigger? The reason I ask is because the 10ml bottles that I bought previously from LT-ecigs are exactly the same size and were full to the top. OpenSecret.

I mix my own juice so I can't comment on any suppliers of premixed A good microcoil can be rewicked a multitude of times, requires no tools except a pair of scissors, unless you have very weak hands (getting the chimney off can be slightly difficult) Even if you only get 2-3 rewicks from a coil you are already saving money, and you should get a great many more than that. The mvp has a longer battery life than the iStick and is larger and more solid. The iStick should easily last all day, the mvp two days unless you really hammer it. Fasttech sells cloned tanks. They are cheaper and may or may not be any good www.fasttech.com/products/0/10008248/1738602-aerotank-mega-style-clearomizer-kit www.fasttech.com/products/0/10008248/1741202-aerotank-mega-style-clearomizer expect them to take weeks to reach you.

I think that looks good I haven't used the irish site, but I haven't heard anything bad about them either. 3 of virtualvape's coils should last you a few months unless you do something daft to them. I'm not sure how much cotton wool Virtual Vape sends out with his coils. Because I recoil my own since he started up I've never bought coils from him. Cotton wool isn't difficult or expensive to find though

Even on a student budget you can afford cotton wool. Any of the cheap drug stores will have it and even your cheap Mama stores like home bargains/pound stretcher. Less than £1 for cheap cheap cotton (not being fussed about organic et al) balls..... Will last you ages. You might also find a pair of tweezers helpful when replacing your wick. Again nothing fancy needed. Just a cheap pair from the chemist or wherever. Should be about £1 - maybe more Coiling equipment I use is a blow torch I've had yonks (most expensive bit) - but the jury is out on whether or not flaming your coils is a good idea or bad for health. Beal awl from ebay - about £2 or just over - you'll find it under my threads somewhere and finally wire (someone help me out here like Super-Shiny and a pair of cheap nail clippers. So for less than £20/15 you've got everything you need for recoiling

I am actually still pretty unsure on what mod + battery I should get. Personally, I don't really trust the istick after doing a bit more research. There is so much to choose from and I'm so inexperienced in this department. Other brands I looked into were vamo and senglei but they are more expensive so don't really know. Sorry the rambling. I don't want to impulse buy and end up regretting it.

I have never owned either of those Vamos have been popular for a long time, and having batteries you can charge separately to the actual device has advantages. Make sure you get decent 18650 batteries for it if you want it to last all day.

Make sure you get decent 18650 batteries for it if you want it to last all day. I'm sure you're sick of me quoting you by now but I've done some research and I think I've made my decision:- myepack.co.uk/review/product/list/id/810/?p=2I've read that the 510 thread on the mod is pretty poor. I was thinking of getting a beauty ring/510 to 510 connector to decrease the chances of me cutting the thread up from refilling. I don't suppose you could recommend me one because I have no idea. With those sort of batteries if I was vaping at a reasonably high wattage, what sort of battery life would I get? I know it also differs depending on battery make but in general. I don't really know the brand that makes the batteries included but atm I would also not be able to afford to get extra batteries for now. I skimmed through the description and I think the kit includes everything I need. Could you just take a look and make sure? I don't want to end up getting the kit and finding out I'm missing an add on etc. It looks like it comes with the batterries. Finally, would it be a problem to instead fit an Aerotank v2 on the mod? I think the mega might be a big step and 2.5ml might last me through the uni day. So I was thinking of getting this: - myepack.co.uk/review/product/list/id/1175/Is the quality as great as the mega? Could I also use the unicoils we talked about earlier with this tank too? Thank you very much! OpenSecret

Hi opensecretNot sure what the threads are like on the Vamo but a lot of people use the following airflow controller as a thread saver, www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Accessories/Airflow-Controller.html?cPath=7_15The kit you link to does contain all you need (apart from e-juice) to get you going but battery life is very much a variable depending on coil, juice, wattage/voltage settings. Oh - and how much you vape of course lol On the purchase page there is a drop down menu to choose a different tank with different pricing options, the Aerotank V2 is listed as an extra £10

Seems like a good kit In the drop down menu to choose the clearomiser you can get the Aerotank V2 for £10 rather than the normal price of £17 Efest batteries are used by many including my OH (he uses the 18350) on a daily basis. The 18650 should last all day, but idk about really high wattage, as I'm a wimp I haven't tried a normal size aerotank, I hate "kinked" glass. One of my many pet hates Quality wise it should be pretty good, performance wise idk. I have tried the mini and sold it on after using it for one tank. I love the mega. The unicoils will fit (and greatly improve) all three. You can get adapters all over the place, I've had a few from various vendors and they are pretty similar, I couldn't find one on Myepack which surprises me. It will look slightly strange without a beauty ring as well. It will look best without the adapter at all.

opensecretJust before you do - noticed you have went for the chrome one - they do the same thing in stainless steel for not a lot extra Ooh do they do it in stainless steel on myepack? I've never bought vape hardware from anywhere else so I'm really worried about going to new sites. As far as I can see they only do the body on myepack. ;-) Plus I won't have the discount on the tank. :-P EDIT - Is this the one you were talking about? myepack.co.uk/vamo-v5-full-kit-ss.html Is that one actually slightly better as well as looking better with SS? The title is a bit misleading saying it is a 20 W vamo v6. People in the comments are saying it's a vamo v5.
