Aspire nautilus mini + VTR - will it fit

Has anyone tried an Aspire Nautilus Mini with a VTR. I'd like to know if it fits in the VTR - was thinking of buying one to try but it has to fit the VTR.

VTR states 19mm, but on FT it says the mini is 19.2mm - just 0.2mm over still thinking it just MIGHT fit

I couldn't get mines to fit. the airflow ring is slightly bigger . I did see a photo somewhere with one on a vtr can't remember where though !

Unfortunately the base doesn't fit through the top ring on the VTR  toots 

However you can screw the base of the Aspire mini on to the VTR and then put the rest of the tank through the top ring and screw down but in all honesty I would not like to try it when full of liquid

Thanks Di for that info.

I suppose I'd have to turn the VTR upside down along with the nautilus to screw the atty on to the base, hmmm gonna have a think about that little problem

I am a mere female here, I really don't wanna be faffing about with something like that. Just plug & play is me all over

I basically only wanted to try out the nautilus coz I'd heard some good things about the BVC coils.

I'm sure you could get quite used to attaching base from mod, onto tank?

I often do that when I'm using a mod with thread issues (turn upside down, only remove tank portion, refill and reattach all upside down - to save stress on threads)

It would just be a new habit....

Actually Pepperty come to think of it I used to do that a lot with my mini protanks so not much difference I suppose doing it with the VTR & Nautilus

I too like the real thing and am happy to pay a few pound more, least then if you dont get on with it you cant blame a clone and poor workmanship!
mind you, its probably as decent but I like original (as long as I can afford it)

And only 18mm wide - grrrrrrrr - I've already ordered and paid for the Nautilus now
