Is this battery dead?

Put my itazte vv on charge yesterday, after 4 hrs it was flashing through all the colours so I unplugged it and put a clearo on and it was ok for about 1hr and it starting flashing red and now won't work?

I haven't got one, but have you tried another atty on it?

Unfortunately it sounds dead to me Phoenix . , I like the itastes and use them every day but they are not particularly robust, I suppose we can't really complain for £20 though.

agree with the above, unfortunately it does appear to be a dead un, let us know if it survives as I also use Itaste on a regular basis

Deffo dead, tried all my clearo's with it and no life in it at all. Just going to check how long I have had it.

Phoenix . does the USB feel a bit wobbly? I had one that was doing something similar and the charging port had become loose. Sent it to ronaldo and superstar that he is, had it fixed in minutes...

I have a couple of those, I guess 5 months isn't too bad for a battery of this size, think I read somewhere that they last between 4-6mths, but there again I could be wrong...I normally am :'(thanks for getting back to me phoenix

Mines about 15 months old now and still going strong.

Hasn't exactly seen daily use for some time though which probably explains it - reliable backup for me though to date

Have you checked the charger, I also got my itaste vv3 in may and I have had two chargers so far, last one I got only lasted a month so maybe your usb charger.

I have 4 new ones bought last week.

One of my Itaste vv.v3 has just died but not in the manner you describe it seems to charge normally but then needs recharging again after around an hour and it is over a year old and was in daily use. I think at some point I did have one that acted as yours is doing and cleaned the contact on the battery and the firing button with a vodka soaked cotton bud and all was well.
