Total newb here so apologies it this is a daft question.
This is my first refillable ecig after using rechargeables with throwaway cartomisers, and I'm fairly happy with it, but the drip tip is loose and leaking air, and I can't find a replacement. The retailer I bought it from doesn't stock them.
I'm in a bit of a quandry. Should I just continue with this or buy something more reliable. I do find that I have to take a really big drag to get a good hit from it so I'm interested in what anyone would recommend as a step up from this.
Thanks in advance.

HaroldTheBarrelYour Halo tank 1 is a CE4/5 type. You can buy them on ebay. 7 for £10. Buy some more, use a drip tip off one, whatever makes you happy. I would just buy some nice new ones myself... and certainly don't pay £3.99 for any more. Those sort of clearomisers are possibly the biggest seller of all time. There are spares by the million out there in Vape land. If you like that sort of thing, try a couple of these, they are similar and probably better. myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/iclear-16-dual-coil-clearmiser.htmlOr, even better, some of these. myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/aspire-k1-glassomiser.htmlThese use the latest replaceable heads, which are about £2 each. I just ordered 5 for £7 actually about an hour ago. They last 2 weeks easily and are far superior to what you have and my first recommendation. Things are moving fast, and you don't want to keep buying old tech for the kind of money Halo are asking.

I'm a still a bit baffled. You'll have to explain in very simple language. I got the tank one after reading an online review. The CE5 clearomiser is a consumable item, so when it reached the end of it's life I ordered a BDC clearomiser, which has replaceable coils.
So the Aspire K1 Glassomiser just fits on my Halo battery and it's a consumable, so when it wears out I just chuck it and use a new one?
If the technology it progressing so rapidly should I just call it a day with the Halo and get something better? I've been reading a lot of good things about the Nautilus.

So the Aspire K1 Glassomiser just fits on my Halo battery and it's a consumable, so when it wears out I just chuck it and use a new one? When the atomizer 'bit' IN a K1 stops working, you replace the atomizer head... you keep the tank bit, so it costs you just £2 (£1.40 each if you buy 5) or whatever. There are really only 3 types of tanks. 1. Disposable. Waste of money, unless you buy dozens of cheap ones. (GS-H2, for example) 2. Replaceable atomizer head - "rebuildable" clearomisers. EVOD, Protank, K1, Nautilus, iClear16.. 3. Fully rebuildable atomizers - (Kayfun, for example) where you actually wind the coil yourself and put a wick in it. You could buy a mini Nautilus, but it'll be fairly poor on a standard e-cig battery. Actually, I would NOT recommend it. The bigger BVC coils are better than the small ones, but require more power.

...so when it reached the end of it's life I ordered a BDC clearomiser, which has replaceable coils. I have two of the same BDC clearomisers Halo will sell you. Mine have the BVC coil replacement head. That doesn't actually save them from being useless.

That's the battery I've got but the clearomiser is quite different to that one. There's no visible wick in it, just a straight tube with the coil in the bottom.

Thanks for the advice. I've ordered the Aspire clearomiser.
I also need a new battery as my Halo is fried. Any recommendations?

Thanks very much. I've ordered one of the Evods. I hope it doesn't take too long to be delivered. I'm using my Green Smoke emergency backup at the moment

So the Aspire K1 arrived yesterday. Wow, what a difference, and no more loose drip tip.
