So I have used .45 kanthal with 6 wraps. This is 2 less than I have used before to achieve .7 ohm yet thus is coming out as .8 ohm. I have increased the diameter of the coil so would this effect the resistance in this way? I am probably being a nob here but think I am missing something?  |

Thanks. I did think that but looked at some builds around the Web and confused myself! It has just taken rather a lot of cotton to wick this! Flavour is the best yet though so well worth it  What sort of power should I be able to use on this? |

Not too clued up on regulated power as only use meths really.
Should be able to stick a fair bit of wattage through it just fine.

jmw2309 just keep having a vape and turning it up a bit. if it tastes burnt, turn it down. You'll find your own sweet spot.

Don't drink that stuff mate, the hangover's a bitch. jmw2309 a larger diameter uses more wire so more resistance, all coil calc apps do is take the ? per metre of the kanthal and use ?d x num wraps to get the length of wire (+ a bit for the legs). |
