I think what was actually meant with the 70% tax is to make it 70% everywhere, stopping the pirates holiday makers making a few quid for themselves their families.

In theroy then the price of cigs in the uk should go down - maybe some back-scratching??

Knowing the UK they'll probably just bung on the extra 70% on top of the 83% tax
