It is KSD, the one on FT doesn`t look to be KSD, no air grooves around the 510 , but the FT one does have a hole already for the USB indicator light output.

I think the one on FT is Cloupor. I've seen reviews on that one that looked shoddy but maybe I'm splitting hairs.

I had a look at the output on the scope when the mod is in sleep mode. On pushing the button there is nothing going on at the output. It`s purely a wake up call for the mod. I thought it might be a resistance calculation going on gph

Thanks for the link Robby. I didn't know about that site.

I think it would have to be an authentic chip because it's too soon to have cloned it. The price is a bit high if they paid roughly the same for the chip as did the group buy. Aesthetically I prefer the logo-less KSD version.

Received my second DNA30 from Foclecig today There must be ongoing development work with the DNA30 board used. My first one was fine, bought shortly after it was first listed on Focal, but this one is certainly better from checking it out quickly on the scope with a few atties. The case is identical, much better soldering work (although the first one has given no problems). I`ll do something with scope pics etc later on

I`m gonna give it a good test tomorrow but it is certainly better than the first one I got. The first one was fine, but this one has certainly been updated, the chip seems much better already, more refined Foclecig
