Hi all,
T'was my birthday yesterday and after a lovely meal out last night I had time to myself to play with my new presents today. I ordered all this myself and knew what I was getting as my wife wouldn't have clue. Anyway a list of things I've had my mits on:
1. The most I've ever rebuilt is changing a wick in a Naturevape coil, so I bought a Kayfun Lite Plus clone. I wached a few videos on YouTube and cracked on. The coil and wicking were fine, first go, and it came out at 1.3 ohms with 7 wraps of 28 gauge around a 5/64 watchmakers screwdriver and organic cotton. I was aiming for 1.4 but I suppose another wrap or two would have helped. Anyway rebuilt it all and filled it up, tested again and it went to 9.9 ohms on a Vamo. I'd used Martyn Parkers technique of just trapping the wire under the screw, which I thought was odd when I watched it, and the wire had popped off - so redid it and all was good after tightening both screws. Vaped really well, but liquid was leaking out of the airhole. I noticed a smaller screw across from the fill hole and just under the air hole, which was hanging out (I'm guessing this is a crude airflow adjustment) I screwed it back in and backed off a couple of turns. Vaping really well now and a lovely tight draw which I prefer.
2. Nautilus mini. Last night before going out I poppoed one of these on an Eleaf Istick - wow the vape is fantastic and used it all the time I was out - top marks, which leads me on to the.....
3. Eleaf Istick - really small but seems solid and well made, easy to use - but the firing button seems like it may well be a weak point, time will tell.
4. Itaste VTR - I've always wanted one of these, and as others have mentioned it's a beast, but I know I'm going to love it.
5. IPV V2 - Had high hopes for this, but I'm slightly disappointed with the build quality. It just feels cheap. I suppose for the price, it was all that could be expected really. Again time will tell.
Other things received in the vaping category - Aerotank V2 and a Genitank. Oddly the Genitank seems better made, even though they are basically the same thing, just differing build materials. An Ultrasonic cleaner (JPL 7050 - thanks for the recommendations on this), some new juices to taste and a couple on Panasonic 3400s and VTC5s.
So all-in-all I'm well chuffed with the Kayfun and actually managing to build the thing lol. The Eleaf/Nautilus combination is sublime and will definitely be my out and about set up. I've also got some Jonco coils to stick in the Aero/Geni tanks.
Thanks for reading.

Hi pxr5, belated for yesterday I would be interested to see the bottom part of your Kayfun you are talking about. Some of the Kayfun clones do not have a great set of screws for the positive and negative posts for your wire. The surface area that traps the wire is often quite rounded or quite small. I find if you wrap the wire once around the thread of the screw before tightening down then you always get a very good connection and hold As for leaking, sometimes the first fill has some leaking if not done perfectly, especially on the clone versions. See here for a very good guide on doing it without the window GUIDEThe IPV2 might surprise you given some time, it feels a little light and cheap but has really grown on me and has become my daily driver.

Thanks Tom for the reply and birthday wishes. I think I just needed to screw the pos and neg screws down a bit better - though next time I will wrap them. As I said hopefully the IPV v2 will grow on me. Here is a pic of the bottom of the KFL + clone. It was the small screw that was hanging out.

That small screw is your airflow screw and they have a habit of undoing themselves from time to time. I received some good advice, get a small bit of plumbers tape and wrap it around the threads if it becomes problematic

Cheers all - this has to last me (must stop spending) and I've gone over a year with egos, mini PTs and an MVP2. Oh and spinners and a Vamo lol. No idea on the KF clone, it's unmarked - seems OK though.

Happy birthday and some nice toys there. Haven't got round to building my Kayfun yet but would say one from myepack should be pretty decent
edit; review from myepack.
"Had this now for about 6 weeks and love it, it has taken me time to get it right but was down to me, lots of help from utube vids great service from myepack as always"
keep at it mate, plumbers tape = PTFE.
